Teaching Assistant- SEND Start date- ASAP Location- Tonbridge Duration- Temp- Full time. Prospero Teaching are seeking an experienced teaching assistant for a primary school in Tonbridge. This would be working in a KS2 class on a 1-2-1 basis with a student who has autism. You will be supporting the child to be able to understand and complete their work. Must have previous experience working with SEND children or vulnerable adults, be confident with challenging behaviour- Experience in de-escalation would be an advantage. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15-4pm on a temporary full-time basis. Duties- Assisting with understanding and completing work Emotional support for the student Working in a 1-2-1 environment Be punctual, polite and have good initiative Supporting the teacher with tasks and responsibilities Be able to travel to Tonbridge.
