GPS Recruitment have an opportunity for a Transport Administrator, working alongside the current Transport team.

This appointment will be an opportunity for an individual with administration skills looking to progress within the transport industry.

Working Hours: Tues-Thurs,12.00pm-8.30pm

Main duties:

Planning the drivers / fleet both onsite and at the regional out-based depots to achieve set planned deliveries nationwide.

Efficient routing of the fleet to maximise and maintain customer service whilst ensuring legal compliance with driver working hours and fuel utilisation.

Assisting the rest of the team in other functions within the office.

Other general office duties.

Key personal skills:

Computer Literate- ESSENTIAL

Excellent organisational and written and numerical skills.

working knowledge of Microsoft packages- Excel

Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels.

Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team.

An ambition to progress with the transport function- DESIREABLE .

Full training given on Bespoke In-house systems.
