Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Heathrow
Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday - Days
About Us My Client is a reputable main dealer in Heathrow, where quality, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to excellence are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic team. The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles are serviced to the highest standards, adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
Perform diagnostics using the latest equipment to identify and rectify faults.
Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime.
Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure all work meets DVSA standards.
Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain an efficient and organized work environment.
Provide excellent customer service, offering clear communication about repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
Previous experience as an HGV Technician in a main dealer or similar environment.
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license (Class 1 HGV License preferred).
IRTEC accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
