Job Title: General Labourer

Salary: Up to 150 per day dependant on experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite, and perform manual labour as required. This role is vital to ensuring efficient operations on-site and supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment and work areas.
• Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools.
• Perform basic site maintenance, ensuring the site is clean, safe, and organised.
• Support skilled workers (e.g., carpenters, groundworker, etc.) with manual labour tasks.
• Operate basic construction tools and equipment as directed.
• Follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in moving heavy materials and equipment across the site.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a general labourer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices on-site.
• Basic knowledge of tools and machinery.
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Desirable Skills:

• Basic knowledge of construction materials and processes.
• Good communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
