Housing Support Worker Radford, Nottingham £22,669 - £23,428 per annum Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our new temporary accommodation service in Radford, Nottingham. Sutton House is a new temporary accommodation service for families which will be opening 2nd January 2025 in Radford, Nottingham. The team inform referral agencies about vacancies and give advice about the suitability of potential referrals. You will interview applicants and complete risk and needs assessments, discussing applications and allocations with the project manager. You will assist with the move-in process, ensuring that new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and relevant management procedures. Assist tenants with housing benefit applications and ready to move plans. Ideal candidate We’re looking for someone who has the values, knowledge and skills of working within a care and support environment and can demonstrate how they use their skills and common sense to support vulnerable individuals. They’ll have a commitment to maintaining the dignity and rights of the individuals and families we work with, with top notch communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but we welcome candidates with relevant experience from other sectors or transferrable skills. Full training will be provided.
