Civil Engineer Redhill outskirts £45k-£50k plus benefits & car One of the Southeast of England's most highly respected and privately owned developers is set to appoint a civil engineer within their busy office in Surrey. This is an award-winning firm who seek candidates with strong technical skills who will work on a broad range of notable residential projects, from small to large scale. Self-motivation and ambition are essential. You will be required to liaise at all levels, including attending site and Local Authority meetings. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed designs for residential development infrastructure, including site layouts, highways, services, drainage and foundations Manage own project workload and coordinate all stages from concept to completion Prepare & submit relevant applications including Sections 38, 278, 104 and 106 Fully conversant with Building Regulations and Planning Conditions Support more junior team members, mentoring and assisting with their career development Attend site visit throughout all project stages, dealing with technical queries About you: Degree in civil engineering Eager to become Chartered or Incorporated (support on offer) Experience in a similar role within a consultancy or housebuilder Experience in creating detailed designs of roads and drainage to support housing developments Proficient in AutoCAD, PDS and FLOW This is an excellent opportunity for experienced roads and drainage design engineers who are seeking to take the next step on their career ladder.
