Vehicle Technician

I am currently recruiting for a well-respected Car Dealership who require a vehicle technician to Join their Huddersfield site

• Annual Salary: 38,000- 45000 (Basic)
• Location: Huddersfield
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Due to someone retiring the client is looking to recruit a hardworking and customer focused Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for someone is suitable Qualified and experienced. The role offers a competitive basic salary with the added benefit of an annual bonus, reflecting the quality and quantity of work.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performing vehicle inspections, repairing, and servicing.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with professional standards.
• Keeping records of work carried out and time taken.
• Communicating effectively with the service team and customers when required.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar qualification.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT Testing - advantageous
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
