Senior CNC Machinist

Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist & Mentor – Heavy Metal Engineering Location : Edinburgh Contract : 37-hour week (rotating shift pattern) Overtime : Available at enhanced rates We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proven experience in the heavy metal industry to join our team at a major manufacturing company that has nearly doubled its workforce in recent years. Key Responsibilities: Operate a range of equipment, including Semi-Automatic Bandsaws , CNC Drills , Hydraulic Presses , and 3 Axis Milling Machines Set and operate CNC Milling Machines to precise specifications Plan, program, and inspect products for accuracy and quality Produce components to meet key industry standards Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff Rotate between days, lates, and nights in line with our shift pattern Essential Requirements: Extensive experience in the heavy metal engineering sector Ability to operate and set CNC machinery and other shop floor equipment Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and train colleagues Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern What We Offer : Competitive salary with bonus schemes Enhanced overtime rates Career progression opportunities A dynamic working environment within a growing company For immediate consideration please send your CV and contact details to .
