I am recruiting for an enthusiastic Quality Technologist to join the team and help maintain reputation for excellence in delivering safe, high-quality food products.

The company I am recruiting for is a relatively new in the industry, but a little powerhouse with their vision and dedicated to producing and further processing ambient products in the food industry. They prioritise food safety, compliance, and quality, ensuring their products meet the highest standards for their customers.

Role Overview

As a Quality Technologist, you ll play a crucial role in quality and safety initiatives. Working closely with production, supply chain, and R&D teams, you ll ensure that every product meet exacting standards, from raw materials to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks, audits, and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Compliance: Ensure all products comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements, including HACCP, BRC, and other food safety standards.
  • Testing & Analysis: Perform routine tests, document results, and maintain accurate records for quality assurance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and address quality issues, collaborate on corrective actions, and support process improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain and manage quality control documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Training: Support training of team members on quality control protocols and best practices.

What are they looking for?

  • Degree or certification in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance/quality control, ideally in a food manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
