Group Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Remote | £80,000 plus Car Allowance & Excellent Benefits Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the largest infrastructure and utilities contractors. They're looking for a Head of HSEQ to manage and maintain their high standards of HSEQ performance across the business. The organisation's combined turnover is in the region of £500m and they are seeking a safety professional who can ensure their Health, Safety, Environment and Quality program continues to deliver to the highest standard. This individual will deputise for the current SHEQ Director and will be involved heavily in liaising with clients and developing/implementing strategy across the group. Responsibilities for the Group Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality will include: Leading the Group Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team ensuring the successful delivery of the strategy across the group Engaging with senior managers, clients and external stakeholders ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical health and safety related enquires Continually developing and reviewing the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001) Conducting major health and safety incident investigation to identify root cause and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrenceThe successful Group Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality candidate will have: Proven experience in a similar role within civil engineering/utilities or wider construction Experience in influencing, engaging and coaching senior management and liaising directly with clients A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations Ideally a NEBOSH Diploma or EquivalentThis position will require an individual who is passionate about health and safety and high performance.
