Teaching Assistant

Five Education are looking to recruit motivated candidates to work as Teaching Assistants in Primary and Secondary settings in Bristol, to support pupils with additional learning needs. Any previous experience working in care or volunteering with children would be a huge advantage, but not essential. Responsibilities and duties: - Supporting students, either 1:1 or in small groups, in the classroom and around the school if necessary - Being a reassuring presence for the child/children, helping them build confidence and staying motivated - Helping the class teacher with differentiation so all students can access the curriculum - Assisting students in their work, helping them to remain focussed and on task Essential Criteria: - Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa) - Two recent employment references - Relevant references and DBS/police checks, if required - Able to work 8.30-3.30, 3-5 days per week, term time only What can Five Education offer you? Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI.
