Geotechnical Design Engineer (York)

A specialist geotechnical design consultancy based in York are seeking an experienced geotechnical designer to join their team on a variety of exciting residential projects around the UK. With support to chartership and an abundance of projects to work on, this is a great opportunity to progress your skills and develop your career.
The Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be developing ground models and designing structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes on a range of residential and commercial projects. Engineers will also be conducting ground movement assessments and training junior members of the team.
The Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be offered:

Have experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and experience using software's such as , AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred). Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence. Be commutable to York and the surrounding area.
