Building Services Manager (North)
Remote Work with extensive travel within the North of the UK
Salary is up to £52,308 (Dependent on Experience) plus a car allowance of £6,200

Anchor, a not-for-profit provider of care and housing for older individuals in England, is on a mission to redefine housing and care, ensuring everyone enjoys a cherished home in their later years.
To support our Development Strategy, we aim to deliver an average of 500 new homes per year over a rolling 10 year period. We already have multiple projects in progress and numerous new business and regeneration opportunities in the pipeline.
In this role you will:
* Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and Anchor stakeholders to assess building services design for new build and regeneration projects. Your aim will be to ensure a cohesive installation that aligns with Anchor's design and specification requirements, delivering the scope of design and contract packages.
* Provide technical support to the Development Team and internal stakeholders, offering your expertise in building services across the project lifecycle. Your role includes inspecting works and flagging quality issues to the relevant Project Delivery lead.
* Review schedules and programs, ensuring timely commissioning of Building Services before project completion, and verifying accurate certification and documentation.
* Contribute to the assessment of developments, new products, and construction techniques, driving improvements in building services design for Anchor's development schemes. Collaborate with the Anchor Development team to update design guides and Employers Requirements.

You are someone who:
* Boasts a proven history of delivering building services solutions for residential, retirement, or care projects. You can evaluate building services designs, determine installation costs, and manage on-site construction.
* Understands the varied needs of both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
* Thrives in a team-oriented, agile working environment.
* Holds awareness of housing and care requirements for older individuals.
* Commands a broad understanding of the building industry, with deep insights into building design processes, materials, and alternative solutions for installations.
* Is well-versed in the legislation that governs designers, contractors, and operators.
* Has experience in building design quality assurance procedures.
