The college focuses on practical and functional life-skills that are a necessity for the students to then integrate within the community. The college offers students with SEND the opportunity to gain further qualifications and experiences such as: BTECS, GCSE's, ASDAN accreditations and the opportunity to complete their Duke of Edinburgh award. Each student has a personalised education journey in alignment with their specific EHC Plan, which will assist the right SEND Teaching Assistant with helping fulfil the students potential. The curriculum is flexible with the pupils in mind, meaning that as the designated Teaching Assistant, it will be your responsibility to encourage the students to develop their vocational skills before heading out into the working world.
