The school's specialist care, therapeutic services and vocational curriculum provides support for children with SEND and their next steps after college. The school creates an environment for each individual to develop academically, socially and emotionally before they take their next step into becoming independent. The college focuses on practical and functional life-skills that are a necessity for the students to then integrate within the community.
The college offers students with SEND the opportunity to gain further qualifications and experiences such as: BTECS, GCSE's, ASDAN accreditations and the opportunity to complete their Duke of Edinburgh award. Each student has a personalised education journey in alignment with their specific EHC Plan, which will assist the right SEND Teaching Assistant with helping fulfil the students potential.
