With various shifts available, you’ll find a schedule that works for you, but please note, full availability during the holiday season is essential as we have a lot to accomplish. As a Warehouse Sorter, your responsibilities will include: Loading and Unloading: Carefully handle and move large parcels from vehicles. Machine Operation: Work as part of a team to operate the parcel sort machine, contributing to efficient processing. Task Flexibility: Switch between tasks as needed to support the distribution process. Physical Tasks: Lift and carry items up to 30kg (about 32 bags of sugar) and assist in pushing heavier loads up to 250kg. Endurance: Stand for extended periods throughout your shift.What We’re Looking For: Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Physical capability to handle heavy items. Previous experience in warehouse or sorting roles is a plus (particularly with companies like Amazon, DPD, DHL, or XPO). Excellent organizational skills. A positive, self-motivated attitude. A strong team player.Pay Rates: £14.09 Day Shift.  £15.70 Afternoon. £16.28 Night Shift. Shift Patterns: Day Shift: 07:30 to 17:00 Late Shift: 12:00 to 20:00 Night Shift: Start times will vary from 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 & 21:30 , finish times will vary depending on the operation latest is 04:00.  Monday to Friday. Prior to starting you will be required to attend a 6 hour long induction.  The first hour will be the unpaid assessment, if you successfully pass this, you will move onto 2 hours classroom-based induction with a further test at the end. You will then required to go out & work on the floor for 3 hours, buddied up with someone.
