Head of Delivery (Edinburgh based)Due to the security clearance required for this role, sponsorship can not be supported sadly.Head Resourcing is supporting a scaling business in Edinburgh to find their next Head of Delivery. This is a pivotal role which will take on the ongoing relationships with existing clients, continuing to explore commercial opportunities internally, manage the delivery goals and look after a small team of PMs in a software delivery capacity (SaaS).Key experience that will be required for this position are a proven commercial track record in; Planning and scheduling: Creating a plan and schedule for the projectManaging resources: Allocating resources and managing budgetsCommunicating with stakeholders: Keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring customer satisfactionTracking progress: Monitoring the project's progress and making adjustments as neededResolving issues: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the projectSetting timelines: Establishing timelines for the delivery of productsSome skills that are important for a delivery manager include:Project management: Having strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet tight timelinesCommunication: Having good communication skills and a business-oriented approachLeadership: Having leadership skills to guide and motivate team membersProblem-solving: Having problem-solving skills to develop solutions to customer complaints or concernsTeam management: Having experience in managing teams and coordinating cross-functional effortsIf this sounds like you, I would love to have a more detailed conversation.
