We have a great opportunity for a Head of Talent Management and Inclusivity to join our Global HR Team here at Domestic & General. The role will work as a part of our Talent & Leadership Centre of Expertise and will lead delivery of our ambitious Talent, Inclusivity and Engagement agendas across D&G globally. The overall purpose of the role is to nurture our talent, create culture of inclusivity and engaged colleagues to achieve ambitious business outcomes.
This role will provide thought leadership as well as practical hands-on subject matter expertise and delivery. It will lead on multiple initiatives, from design, implementation to evaluation of a range of interventions for D&G. The role will also support the wider team with the implementation of the overall Talent & Leadership ambition, as part of the People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Talent
- Working closely with HR Director, Talent, and Leadership to execute Talent Roadmap and lead the Group Talent process, including On-boarding, Talent Identification and Succession, Development Planning and Support, Talent Pool Profiling and Reporting, Off-boarding, and Alumni.
- Shape and regularly enhance talent management process for best employee experience, looking at strategic and tactical improvements.
- Facilitate Talent Review Sessions, Talent Mobility, Career Planning, Talent Inclusivity and similar for agreed segments of the talent pool.
- Build and maintain regular, high-quality contact with key senior internal stakeholders and connect Inclusivity and Talent agendas to ensure our ambition and targets are met.
- Develop targeted development programmes, including sponsorship, mentoring and networks to support mobility of colleagues from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Assess leaders for promotion and development, using credible tools and methodologies.
- Oversee Workday Talent Process - Design, Implementation, Maintenance.
- Provide guidance and capability development across the talent process for Leaders, HRBP, HR Delivery.
Inclusivity
- Ensure Inclusivity (DEI) practices are embedded in professional development and talent development programmes, practices & processes.
- Actively contribute to the development and delivery of D&G's Inclusivity strategy and roadmap and lead multiple priority initiatives to enable systemic approach to Inclusivity, as per approved Inclusivity Focus Areas 2024-25, focused on Communication and Engagement, Working Environment, HR Practices and Processes, Representation and Partnerships, with the aim to create a culture of inclusivity across D&G globally.
- Evolve Employee Networks, Inclusivity Reporting, Inclusivity Forum to the next level of maturity.
- Play active role in enabling social mobility, externally and internally, to make a positive social impact and contribute to our ESG agenda.
Engagement
- Develop and execute innovative strategies which enhance employee satisfaction and commitment, leveraging insights into best practices and emerging trends.
- Lead engagement with D&G Story; ongoing engagement with purpose, strategy, mindsets & behaviours, and overall culture work.
- Oversee the E2E annual engagement process, including employee survey, pulse surveys and overseeing activities to ensure our employees are personally connected to our Purpose, Strategy and Brand, keeping our D&G Story alive.
- Manage closely external providers to ensure that the design and implementation meet closely the need of D&G business, including receiving value for money.
- Establish an efficient and effective Delivery Infrastructure of Talent, Inclusivity and Engagement offerings, such as Inclusivity portal, external partners, internal delivery capability, tools, and systems, etc.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing high profile individuals.
- Passion for Talent, Inclusivity & Engagement, and creating impactful partnerships.
- Demonstrated creation of innovative and scalable programmes, tools, and resources to support the delivery of the People agenda.
- Driven to deliver in a fast-paced and high-volume business with strong resilience and an ability to lead and manage change.
- Passionate about shaping talent, inclusivity, and engagement practices, and moving them towards high level of maturity and strategic impact.
- High level communication skills and strong business partnership to leverage genuine engagement with cross functional and cross business teams to implement strategies and solutions.
- Experienced in writing Executive Papers with superior written, verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills.
- Maintains professional knowledge of industry trends, subject matter expertise and methodologies for delivering high quality, talent experiences to diverse audiences.
