About the role: Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? In this full-time, long-term position, you’ll step into an engaging environment working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, leading small group sessions, covering classes, and providing vital support to students as they navigate their learning journeys. Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar role.
• Confidence in leading small groups and covering classes.
• A passion for working with children and helping them achieve.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• A commitment to upholding the school’s values of respect, inclusivity, and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Classroom Support: Lead small group activities and interventions, helping students to reach their full potential.
• Classroom Management: Step in to cover classes as needed, creating a positive and focused learning environment.
• Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing engaging and varied learning materials to enhance lessons.
• Student Engagement: Build positive relationships with students, understanding and responding to individual learning needs.
• Collaborative Planning: Work alongside teachers to design and implement effective strategies that support both academic and emotional growth.
