CNC Programmer/Setter Well Respected Manufacturing company 37-hour weekdays Competitive rates Great working environment Progression Opportunities Our client based in Chorley is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter on a permanent basis, the client is a well-respected manufacturer who has experience programming and setting up CNC machines to complete existing and new product samples. The Job Programming using Fanuc Controls and setting up Hurco Conversational CNC machines to complete new product/different functions Change the tooling of the CNC machine Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and vernier calliper. Adjust machine control, including part process Verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments Generally, monitor the work being undertaken and completed, testing and taking agreed critical measurements to identify problems and the need for adjustment etc and to immediately make any adjustments as necessary. Varied manual machining and finishing tasks on range of components About You To have an engineering background and role with a minimum experience of 2 years Experience with Fanuc Controls Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings. Have experience inspecting products Have experience inspecting production Experience with production process evaluation and improvement Ideally will have knowledge of machined and fabricated parts To have good IT/Computer skills Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the company Be able to work under their own initiative If interested in finding out more about the vacancy please send your CV to James @ TRF TPBN1_UKTJ
