QA Tester

We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a QA Tester. Join a bespoke IT consultancy specialising in Infrastructure-oriented projects on behalf of the Government Defence and Security Sector. What You Can Expect Location – Farnborough - Hybrid Salary - £50,000/£55,000 Industry – Defence and Security Work Type – Permanent Key Responsibilities as a QA Tester Involved in the development of a diverse range of projects. Active part of the development team. Helping shape and expand Agile working practices. Working with complex systems and applications. Analyse requirements and user stories and help provide acceptance criteria. Feed into non-functional testing requirements. Exploratory testing. Communication with the development team and project stakeholders. Reporting on test outcomes at the level required for the project. Test gap analysis – identifying scenarios to be tested and/or automated Ensuring quality of products as they move from prototype / proof of concept into Production. Core Experience and Skills A passion for testing - Automation / Performance / API / Security Excellent communication skills Experience with Agile methodology and exploratory testing Excellent documentation skills Working knowledge of testing tools and test management software Versatility, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Strong organizational skills Willingness to undergo Security Clearance.
