Job Title: Principal Quality Engineer Location: Barrow-in-Furness Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: * Governance of Capability and skills for the Supplier Quality Assurance Organisation, including the delivery of Quality Educational interventions for both Suppliers and internal stakeholders both onsite and in suppliers premises throughout the UK/Europe * Verification of competence to ensure SQEP * Identification of opportunities for improvement to aid efficiencies * Creation of learning material * Creation of educational aids to form part of learning packages Your skills and experiences: * HNC or Degree qualified in appropriate technical discipline or equivalent * Ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contractual requirements * Product knowledge * Strong background in NDT and Coatings * Stakeholder management skills * Presentation/teaching/training experience Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Supplier QA Projects team: The Supplier Quality Assurance team ensures the business can trust that products arrive at the production line correctly the first time, every time. This role is part of the Projects team, which is responsible for the capabilities of both suppliers and internal staff.
