Teaching Assistant Barnsley, South Yorkshire Grade 4 £19,802 - £21,106 annual (ACTUAL SALARY) 33 hours p/w term time ONLY including 5 inset days ABOUT US Springwell Learning Community is the umbrella name for Springwell Special Academy and Springwell Alternative Academy . You will make connections, develop relationships and lead our pupils on the path to a bright future. This will include working under the guidance of a teacher to support the academic and personal development of children throughout the school day. This includes: Getting the classroom ready for lessons Listening to children read Helping those who need extra support Preparing resources Completing records Leading small and whole class group work THE CANDIDATE Experience in a school or similar setting IDEALLY experience working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs MUST be educated with GCSE Maths and English NVQ L3 qualification, working towards or willing to complete Ideally a car driver SALARY/ HOURS Starting salary for a grade 4 Teaching Assistant is £19,802 actual annual salary working 33 hours per week Mon-Fri term time only + 5 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust https://wellspringacademytrust.co.uk/careers/why-join-us/ NEXT STEPS For more information please refer to the job description attached.
