Senior Front End Developer - Start Up - £85K + Equity React/Typescript Frontend Software Developer Amberes has partnered with an exciting Series A-backed start-up (just two years in, with significant growth ahead) that is searching for a Senior React / Typescript Frontend Developer . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly dynamic, agile, and fast-paced team that deploys weekly. In this role, you’ll take the lead on a brand-new greenfield project, developing server-side web applications from the ground up. You'll work closely with a collaborative team of engineers, playing a pivotal role in ensuring system consistency and delivering a top-tier user experience. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining reliable, high-performing web applications that align with the company’s strategic goals. The development team works closely with Product and Commercial teams to create best-in-class solutions for B2B customers. What You’ll Champion: Serve as the most Senior Frontend Engineer on a team that is currently 7 strong, with plans to scale to 20+. Suggest the best tools to use for the project! Engage in the full application development lifecycle, with a focus on coding and releases. Develop high-quality, functional web applications by writing clean, efficient code. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to enhance performance. Conduct UI tests to improve system performance and user experience. Utilize modern technologies to upgrade legacy systems and applications. Work closely with Back-End Developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing features with back-end logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and address design needs. Provide training and support to internal teams as necessary. Develop reusable code and libraries for future projects. Coordinate with developers, designers, and system administrators to plan and implement new features. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. What They're Looking For: Someone who loves their profession! Strong understanding of the web development process, from design to deployment. Proven ability to collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to contribute ideas and best practices in a high-performing, dynamic team environment.
