Enterprise IT Architect

As the Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for the design, communication, and evolution of the organization's enterprise technology and data architecture. This includes establishing and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring that it enables the efficient execution of business processes and ultimately the delivery of the company’s long-term goals. You will need to have strong leadership, communication, analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, as well as be able to collaborate closely with business and technology teams to ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, well governed and aligned with our long-term goals. Provide guidance to, and governance of, implementation partners ensuring any proposed solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. As required, review and recommend third-party software platforms that deliver against user requirements, whilst maintaining alignment with the technology strategy, cost and operational requirements. Provide ongoing oversight and management of the technology strategy to ensure effective deployment via Business Systems, Information Technology, and any other relevant teams. Establish and maintain cross-functional governance forums and procedures to ensure technical architecture, security standards, regulatory requirements, and information protection policies are clearly understood and adhered to across the organization. Monitor the business capability landscape to identify opportunities for greater long-term business value. Bachelor’s (ideally Master’s) degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required. ~15+ years of experience preferably working across multiple technology and data disciplines, including at least 7 years as an Enterprise Architect and 5 years leading Business Systems teams. ~ Significant experience with SQL, data sourcing, enterprise data management, modeling, business strategy, auditing and compliance. ~ Significant experience of defining enterprise architecture and solutions for platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Avalara and Qlik. ~ Experience in defining and driving compliance with IT governance standards. ~ Certification in LEAN, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL principals with experience implementing one of these practices preferred. ~ Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture, planning and goal setting at high and detailed levels. Ability to understand long- and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong project and performance management skills. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
