They are committed to making a difference. Every year, they assist thousands of people by offering free, confidential advice on a range of issues, from finance and debt to employment and beyond. Their Trustees play a crucial role in leading their strategic development and ensuring they maximise their resources for community impact. Why Become a Trustee? – Shape Their Future: Trustees oversee their strategy, ensuring their charity remains effective, ethical, and impactful. – Make a Real Difference: By guiding their work, you’ll contribute to life-changing services for countless individuals. – Collaborate in a Supportive Team: You’ll join a welcoming, experienced board dedicated to improving lives across Shropshire. Treasurer: Our Treasurer oversees finances at both a strategic and technical level. Ideal candidates will have a professional finance or accounting background; knowledge of charity finance is beneficial but not essential. We especially encourage applications from underrepresented communities, including younger people. Benefits: – Volunteer Role: This is a voluntary position with travel expenses covered. – Time Commitment: Around one monthly meeting, plus occasional training (approximately three sessions per year). Ready to make a difference? Join this fantastic charity as a Trustee and contribute to the well-being of your community
