CIAM Architect Day Rate: Up to £725 inside IR35 Duration: 6 Months Rolling Location: London - Remote First Start Date: Max 2 weeks’ notice The Opportunity: A boutique tech consultancy seeks an influential Azure CIAM Architect to support designing and implementing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions for a Professional Membership Organisation. The Role: Design and manage CIAM solutions to enhance security and user experience. Implement CIAM protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, Kerberos) and manage Azure AD integrations. Facilitate integrations with D365, iMSAL for Azure B2C, and MuleSoft. Configure custom Azure B2C policies for user journeys and modify existing policies as needed. Conduct API calls and ensure compliance with security best practices. Analyze and troubleshoot CIAM issues, communicating effectively with the team and stakeholders. Key Requirements: 7 years of experience in CIAM solution design and implementation. Proficient in federation with Azure AD and external IDPs, along with OWIN-based .NET integrations and D365 integration with Azure B2C. Skilled in iMSAL integration for JavaScript/Angular apps and API integration with MuleSoft. Strong technical knowledge of Azure (PaaS, IaaS), Azure AD, and Azure B2C, including advanced proficiency in custom policy management for sign-in, sign-up, password resets, and profile edits. Capable of modifying existing custom policies and executing REST API calls, user journeys, and custom templates, along with managing user object attributes and claims transformations. Excellent understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
