Senior Estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator Location: Hertfordshire Package: £85,000 - £95,000 plus car allowance and bonus Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join the Estimating team across multiple high-profile contracts. Accurately preparing the financial element of bids and producing estimates on appropriate schemes to the right net cost in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to deliver profitable, de-risked, winning bids on time and to the highest quality, providing estimating services on projects and strategic & contract changes. The Senior Estimator would be working on Residential and Commercial Projects from £20m up to £200m+. Duties Working on Commercial and Residential Projects out fo their office in Hertfordshire. Can demonstrate commercial awareness and a strong understanding / have a willingness to learn all elements of the construction process Able to create and follow clearly set-out processes Methodical, analytical and organised with an attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal  Ability to work well under pressure Personable and effective team player Open to feedback with a willingness to learn and improve. Requirements A Senior Estimator who has experience working for a UK Main Contractor.
