Role: Year 2 Teacher Ofsted: GOOD Age: Primary Area: Wardle OL12 Start: November 2024 Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience Contract: Fulltime, Long Term An Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school located in Wardle OL12 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to join their vibrant teaching team. This is a long term role which will commence in November 2024. The school is well-regarded for its commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. They are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire and support young learners during the formative stages of their education. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum. * Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active learning. * Assess, track, and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child. * Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each pupil's success and well-being. * Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings, school events, and extra-curricular activities. Candidate Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential. * Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) with a strong understanding of the national curriculum. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners. * Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * A passion for teaching and learning, with a focus on developing the potential of each child. * A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional development.
