Role: SEMH Teacher As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive, therapeutic, and engaging learning environment for children with diverse emotional and behavioural needs. Your role will involve: Teaching a small group of pupils aged 5-16 with complex SEMH needs. Designing and delivering personalised lesson plans to meet the specific learning and emotional needs of each pupil. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, carers, and support staff to create an integrated approach to each child's education and wellbeing. Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure each pupil reaches their full potential. Supporting students in managing their emotional regulation and social interactions within the classroom.Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children with SEMH or complex needs is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with young people. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children who have experienced early life trauma.
