Vetro Social Care is actively seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers to work within an award-winning service located in Port talbot. The service is a bespoke specialist service for people with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. You will be assisting individuals through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.
The main house offers a large comfortable lounge, separate dining room, kitchen, quiet room and conservatory as well as a meeting area and activities room.

Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Port Talbot
Job Type: Flexible agency work and block bookings
Shifts: Flexible pattern available, pick and choose the shifts you want every week7:30AM - 8PM / 7:30PM - 8AM (sleep)
Pay: £12.81 (including holiday pay)

You will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs which include observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of their conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the full support of a team of multi-disciplinary professionals.
The candidate:
What you'll need to be successful as Learning Disability Support Worker
A desire to create positive outcomes for young people with Learning disabilities
Driver with access to own vehicle is desirable
Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
