Job Title: Registered Manager – 4-Bed Children’s EBD Service Location: Derby Salary: £45,000 per annum (DOE) Bonus: Performance-related bonus of up to £4,800 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (with on-call responsibilities outside of working hours) Our client is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed children’s residential service in Derby, specialising in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations * Leading, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care and support * Creating and managing individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes * Budget management and effective resource allocation * Maintaining strong relationships with external agencies, families, and local authorities * Managing on-call duties outside of regular hours Requirements: * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People’s Services) is essential * Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting, with a proven track record of Ofsted compliance * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in children’s residential care * Full UK driving licence is required Benefits: * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * Performance-related bonus of up to £4,800 per annum * Ongoing training and career development opportunities * Supportive working environment with a focus on employee well-being If you are an experienced manager with a passion for making a real impact in the lives of young people, we want to hear from you.
