POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Marketing Executive will support the VANITY GROUP Marketing Strategy through astute project management, creative thinking, and a demonstrated passion for brands and event execution. RESPONSIBILITIES BRAND Ensure all brand collateral, imagery, style guides are up to date and the appropriate assets are dispatched and communicated to the Creative Team Any updates to brand communications to be added to relevant project management tools For all New Product Development (NPD) samples, coordinate hi-res photos and file accordingly Ensure Brand Sales PDFs and product brochures are up to date and work with Brand & Marketing Managers Ensure Sales Quotation Banners are briefed and sent to the Sales Team for filing Collaboration on the weekly distribution of brand newsletter Collaborate on the VG Beauty School platform, ensuring content is relevant and up-to-date, with accompanying EDM send-outs MARKETING Manage website uploads, including brand, product, and blog content Lead the developing and ordering brand collateral, taking briefs as well as initiating innovative ideas and briefing into the Creative Studio Plan and execute marketing activities with support from Marketing Manager Upload new clients and EDM’s via Mailchimp and ensuring timely dispatch every month Coordinate and book stock for partnership events and activations, ensuring seamless execution Work with the warehouse team to ensure timely coordination for sample requirements for hotel specific marketing initiatives Assist in influencer research for hotel partnership programmes Support across social content calendars Craft and oversee influencer briefs and file influencer social uploads on the server – this includes any screen records or screenshots for reporting purposes Maintain and expand the media database Clipping and saving PR coverage and support in building coverage reports Work closely with Vice President, Sales & Marketing on copywriting tasks Research tasks - staying abreast of industry trends and putting forward proactive recommendations Maintain hotel partnership marketing calendar COMMUNICATIONS Support across external communications such as press releases and operational updates Support across sales and training materials Support across internal communications and training ⭐ ABOUT YOU Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Previous experience in marketing or licensing environment is advantageous Experience working with hotels preferred Understanding of FMCG marketing or brand management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced computer and MS offices skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook competently Strong organisation and project management skills - adept at executing projects by handling deadlines, time pressure, and multiple demands Acute attention to detail not wavering with conflicting priorities Ability to foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders Up to date with trends and new products VANITY GROUP PERKS Competitive Salary Package Hybrid office/home workplace Daily stocked “BRAVO BAR” snacks and munchies, for sweet or sour lovers.
