Quantity Surveyor

Role: Quantity Surveyor Location: Wolverhampton Employment type: Permanent Salary: £45,000-£55,000 - dependent on experience We are recruiting for an established Mechanical & Electrical services company that operates across various sectors, including Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare, and Data Centres. With a strong presence in the UK and Europe, this company is recognized for delivering high-quality, large-scale projects, and for fostering a culture of excellence and career development. Key Responsibilities : Review and manage construction and tender documentation, ensuring cost plans are maintained. Procure and manage supplier and sub-contractor packages. Prepare monthly valuations and variations, while ensuring subcontractor applications are audited. Track labour hours on-site and highlight potential issues. Ensure commercial documents and warranties are processed efficiently. Attend both internal and external meetings to discuss project progress and address potential disruptions. Ideal Candidate : Extensive experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services. Strong understanding of the tendering and construction processes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
