Architect Location: Chelmsford Reference: SFCHE8898 Salary: £35,000-£42,000 A prominent architectural firm in Chelmsford is looking for a skilled and detail-focused Architect to join its dynamic and forward-thinking team. Renowned for delivering innovative projects across sectors such as hospitality, residential, and healthcare, this firm emphasises lasting client relationships and exceptional design quality. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned architect to make a meaningful impact on high-profile projects. In this position, the Architect will lead projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in hospitality design, meticulous attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of UK building regulations. Responsibilities, Skills and Experience for the role of Architect: ARB registered. Sufficient post Part 3 experience in a UK-based architectural practice. Demonstrated success in delivering hospitality projects, supported by a strong portfolio. Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, and technical specifications for joinery, electrics, and finishes. Lead and oversee hospitality design projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers, including conducting site visits and reviews. Confidently manage projects independently and within a collaborative team. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp. Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills. Experience with construction detailing and preparing technical documentation.
