Role: SEN Teacher Start Date: ASAP Pay: M1(31,350) – M6 (42,689) – (depending on experience) Location –Watford Time 8:30am – 3:30pm Temporary – Permanent Overview: Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join a SEN school based in Watford on a long-term contract possibly then leading into a permanent position. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching children with SEN needs. About the role: Supply Desk is partnering with a dedicated SEN school in Watford seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to support a diverse class of students with varying special educational needs. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a classroom setting and must have experience working with children who have SEN needs including SEMH and behavioural difficulties. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to the children’s needs. They must be able to plan effectively to suit the children’s needs, they must have good classroom management skills and a really positive approach to build positive relationships with the children. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in and education setting. The ideal candidate must: Have the right to work within the UK DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including SEMH and behavioural challenges. Have previous experience working with children who have SEN needs Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
