Mechanical Engineer Salary: £40,000 Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire We are recruiting for a fast-paced manufacturer who has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer based in Barnsley. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer ideally from a manufacturing background, but I will still consider Industrial Background. The mechanical engineer needs to be multi-skilled with a mechanical bias and hold an engineering qualification. The Mechanical Engineer ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of various systems and equipment, combining mechanical, electrical, and electronic expertise. This role involves scheduling and performing maintenance, operating service plants, and supporting new designs and efficiency improvements. Adherence to safety standards and continuous improvement is essential. Skills required for the Mechanical Engineer: Have an engineering qualification. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Mechanical or Electrical bias Industrial/Manufacturing Background Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
