Legal Secretary

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with an accredited multi-office law firm located in Leamington Spa. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Legal Secretary to join their firm on a full time, permanent contract. This position is Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm and can offer a salary of up to £25K Our client offers a very supportive, friendly, and professionally rewarding work environment and commitment to all staff’s wellbeing. Experience working in a law practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Excellent administration, communication and customer service are essential for the success of this role. Legal Secretary main duties: · Undertaking secretarial, administrative and other support work · Opening and closing files · Completing compliance documents including conflict checks, uploading ID, carrying out AML searches · Correspondence to clients and 3rd parties by email and letter · Managing fee earner diaries including arranging and amending appointments and booking meeting rooms · Dealing with document release enquiries · Dealing with client queries over the telephone · Dealing with initial enquiries including quotes and documents needed for first appointment Legal Secretary desired skills and experience: · Previous law secretary or administration experience is preferred · Fast, accurate typing skills · Excellent administrative skills · Excellent communication skills, written and verbal · Good interpersonal and team working skills · A passion for the legal sector This position can offer an immediate start for the successful candidate.
