Continental Shifts
12 hr shifts (half hr lunch) - roles on 4 on 4 off nights only or 4 on 4 off days only
Reporting to the departmental engineer
Holiday entitlement - (23 days) 15 days + 8 statutory + service (payment pro-rata in first year) Pension - Entitled to join pension scheme in line with auto enrolment legislation (money purchase)

Requirements
C+G part 3 or ONCIHNC
Time served (apprenticeship)
Good competency with hydraulic & pneumatic drawings / fault finding
Experience with motors & drives - Gear motors, reduction gearboxes, overhead cranes etc
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Happy to work as part of a team or solo
Bonus experience / qualifications
Previous foundry experience
Banksman training / certificate
Forklift truck I Access equipment training
Ability to use lathe, milling machine, grinders etc
Duties-
Daily/Weekly/Monthly - inspections and maintenance
Respond to breakdowns
Report parts used from stock to maintain stores stock levels
Assist in the analysis of breakdowns, suggest and implement corrective actions
Modifications to plant (to regulations)
Installation of equipment
Assist in training apprentices
Work a reasonable amount of overtime over standard hours in the week should circumstances demand it Call out cover
