An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to be a part of our Kitchen team at the 5* hotel The Wellesley Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
As Sous Chef you responsibilities will include:
Running and Supervising the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Working close to the Head Chef on development of new dishes and practices
Ensure standards and consistency on the preparation of dishes and mise en place.
Responsible for stock rotation and quality control
Commitment to a high level of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
The Sous Chef we are looking for will:
Have prior experience working as a chef de Partie , ideally in the hotel business or something comparable
Demonstrated culinary abilities with at least Level 1 Food Safety
Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
Have good eye for detail and accuracy
Establish relationships and good communication with other departments
Be able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
