Maintenance Engineer (Full Time)Main responsibilities:As the Maintenance Engineer, you will synchronize the highest standards of general maintenance and repairs in the guest rooms,public areas & heart of houseSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.In addition you will showcase your expertise by exercising good judgment and a strong intuition to anticipate the needs of the guests, and meet their existing concerns.Monitor and maintain quality throughout the entire hotel bythe implementation of the maintenance programs for our hotel.Responsible for the reactive and preventive maintenance of the Hotel sit, to ensure it remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all employees, guests and visitorsManage maintenance projects and work in accordance with Accor's quality requirementsPerform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and organise a timely repair.Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime of equipment and roomsDocument breakdowns, identifying root cause and bring remedial actions to help prevent recurring issuesEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety as well environmental regulations and proceduresUndertake risk assessments of processes and tasks as needed and devise and implement safe systems of working to ensure the health and safety of staff, guests and visitorsOrganise and supervise team members in their day to day task, providing instructions and support, if neededDocument and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logsWork with GM's to elaborate maintenance budget and ensure compliance of our hotelManage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements Work ExperienceGood written and verbal communication, organizational and problem solving skills that will allow you to complete every task with the utmost professionalism.An ability to work under pressure and remain poise and professional in every situation.A can-do, positive attitude that highlights your technical skills and abilities.An ability to naturally engage with guests and show empathy while meeting their challenges.Strong technical skills, Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical experience, HVAC certification a plus.
