Pushing the limits of engineering and creating staggering solutions to achieve new heights is something that all engineers love, and in this role you will be making that a reality!
More specifically, in this role you will be working with a company which is renowned across both the automotive and motorsport community for developing some of the most extreme and capable engines ever fit to something with 4 wheels! With a raft of long-term projects on the books, this is proving to be an especially busy time for this company, hence the need for this new position!
So… what would you be doing in this role?
With the extreme nature of the engines this company are producing, the rigorous testing that needs to be undertaken is ever increasing, there your part to play in this will be facilitating the testing requirements for either Dynamometers or Testing rigs before the engines are subjected to testing. For example, if this is emission or power testing, you will devise plans for what would be needed to carry out the testing in terms of measurement channels, data logging or PID Controls. From selecting the right equipment, you will be responsible for installation, calibration, and root cause analysis of any issues during testing.
As well as the hardware side, you will also be calibrating their software, and if you have experience either using AVL Puma or CADET CP this would be an advantage!
This is a days position, no shift.
