Immediate Opening for Design and Technology Teacher in Bristol
Are you an enthusiastic Design and Technology professional eager to make an impact on young minds? We have a thrilling opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at a renowned school in Bristol starting ASAP until the end of the academic year.
Position Overview:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to unleash their creativity and develop practical skills. Your role involves planning and marking, crafting engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs. You'll contribute to our innovative curriculum, nurturing creativity and innovation among our students.
This role will be 4 days a week with alternative working patterns, furthermore it will be a Product Design role teaching KS3-KS4 and it will be beneficial if you can teach to KS5 but not essential.
Salary:
Earn between £160 to £250 per day PAYE, depending on experience and pay scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons up to GCSE level.
Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an enriching curriculum.
Engage students in practical projects fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
