Concrete Operative

Thrive Group are hiring for a concrete operative on behalf of our client in Coleford, Radstock. The position will be on a temp to perm and they are looking for a valuable member to join their team ASAP. Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only) 45 hours paid at £12.56 per hour Job Overview: Within the role of Concrete Operative, you will be involved in a whole range of different duties within the factory environment. Experience in the concrete industry would be an advantage, but full training will be given to the right applicants. Filling moulds with wet and semi-dry concrete Stripping, cleaning, oiling and reassembling moulds ready for reuse Setting moulds with fixings and reinforcements as specified Operating the mixers Etching and blinding-in the finished goods Any other duty deemed suitable by the Production Manager Personal Description: Essential * Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently * Ability to prioritise tasks in line with production targets and health & safety requirements * Excellent time keeping, attendance and flexibility with a positive attitude Desirable * Construction/manufacturing industry experience * Experience manufacturing concrete * Full clean driving licence * Forlift Licence As a Thrive employee, you will have access to our exciting new benefits portal: Discount outlet: Save money in shops, restaurants, and UK attractions.
