About the company:

Our privately owned client is a specialist subcontractor operating in Central London, who work with a variety of residential, commercial and industrial business. Over the years, they have developed into a multi-functional group which successfully cover a number of sectors however the core functions of their business which includes demolition, RC Frames, structural alterations and temporary works contributes 40M turnover to the overall group turnover of 60M.

All of their operational and surveying team operate out of their newly refurbished central London office, which offers their employees the ability to jump on the train (if not walk) to their sites within 30 minutes. About the opportunity:

As a Project Engineer, you will be expected to support the project manager with a variety of tasks including the basics of quality control, temporary works, health & safety, design and supervising the engineering team. With this, my client is looking for a Project Engineer who can take the lead, overseeing enabling works packages (demolition, temporary works and RC Frames) whilst reporting to the onsite Project Manager.

About the benefits and rewards:

For professionals at the right level of experience, our client is offering a strong basic salary of 65,000 to 75,000 per annum (depending on how much experience gained), in addition to the usual company benefits associated with a leading civil engineering contractor. My client is happy to consider professionals who are CIS or self employed too.

About the requirements:

As a Project Engineer, you must be degree qualified in civil engineering and must have a strong, stable career having worked for an enabling works subcontractor in London, gaining experience of working on demolition, RC Frame and groundworks projects.

Post graduate experience needs to be a minimum of 5 years and as projects are in Central London (Zone 1), you must be accessible to this location on a daily basis.
