Catering for hotel residents as well as the very many visitors to the village, we offer our guests the opportunity to experience locally sourced and seasonal produce. Our offerings include breakfast and dinner in The Clunie Dining room, pub meals and snacks in The Flying Stag Pub, as well as a pop-up restaurant in our Fog House and courtyard.
As
Chef de Partie
you will be a strong support to the kitchen brigade, assisting with preparation for service, as well as assisting our Sous Chefs and Head Chef during service. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in a similar environment and a passion for excellent food and a desire to develop your cooking skills whilst under the mentorship of our Executive Chef Chris Niven and the team. You will learn and gain experience on each section of our kitchen. As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for: The day to day running of your section, guided by a Sous Chef.
Ensuring the quality of food is of the exceptional standard expected when dining at the hotel.
Continually striving towards achievement and improvement. Ensuring that the Head Chef and Executive Chef are kept aware of any relevant feedback from either the hotel guests or the team. Assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required. Maintaining the cleanliness, stock control, organisation, and standards of the section. Youll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. : Proven experience from within a similar luxury hospitality environment. A true passion for food. The enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Good kitchen and knife skills. A thorough understanding of health and safety, and food safety guidelines within the kitchen. A willingness to work to the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
