An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Launch Engineer to join a global automotive supplier. The Launch Engineer will be responsible leading and coordinating new project launches into plant. Further responsibilities will include: *Lead Feasibility review, complete feasibility commitment (DFM) & coordinate implementation of actions arising from reviews *Lead PFMEA review & coordinate implementation of actions arising from reviews. *Support the Plant Tooling Engineer & Plant Process Coordinator in tooling feasibility reviews *Coordinate packing trials, creation & sign-off of Packing Specifications *Coordinate the creation & maintenance the Operator Training Matrix & training records through Launch *Lead run @ rate trials *Lead daily Launch meetings *Coordinate component supplies & suppliers prior to MBOM release *Ensure data collection from trial runs (eg. scrap, RFT, issues list) *Issue Launch status report : Weekly to PM / Monthly to Plant Management *Coordinate Launch team to ensure timely manufacture, inspection, test and delivery of customer samples - escalate were slippage is likely to delay customer build / testing. *Ensure that all required quality documentation (PFMEA, Control plan) is completed and approved both internally and by the customer. *Ensure Advanced Quality Planning, including customer signoff and Process signoff on the program If you have the required skills and experience and are looking for a new role then please apply now.
