Management Accountant

We are partnering to appoint an experienced Management Accountant. Your new role As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and following up on issues Managing cashflow Maintaining the costing system on Sage Handling both sales and purchase ledgers Monitoring financial controls and implementing necessary changes Reconciling inter-company accounts Working with auditors at year-end Supporting the Finance Manager, General Manager, and wider management team with accounts and reports Collating, posting, and reconciling month-end stocks Managing VAT submissions, Intrastat, TSS compliance, and other government returns Processing payroll Supporting the accounts team and assisting with ad hoc duties as required What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: A qualification as a Chartered Accountant A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Sage Line 200 (desirable) The ability to work under pressure Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Confidence to work independently as well as part of a team Outstanding communication skills Enthusiasm and self-motivation What you'll get in return In return, you will receive: A competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development A supportive and collaborative work environment The chance to work with a dedicated and experienced team What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
