Fabricator Location: Coventry Pay Rate: £14 per hour Job Type: Permanent Shift Times: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00; Friday, 07:-30 - 12:30 Engineering @ 365 is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Coventry who work across multiple industries carrying out welding and fabrication. They are looking to recruit a skilled fabricator with the ability to work a press brake machine on a permanent Basis Job Description: As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of products whilst working from engineering drawings. Fabrication tasks may include but not limited to the use of a press brake machine, using hand tools and air tools to assemble products in line with engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: * Reading, understanding and working from engineering drawings * Using an AMADA press brake machine both operating and setting to fold metal to client requirements * Working from engineering drawings and blueprints to carry out small welding tasks as and when required * Using a variety of hand and air tools to assemble products to client requirements * Conduct fabricated components to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies. * Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards. * Maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly for maintenance or repair. * Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Requirements: * Proven experience in working as a fabricator, preferably with a background in MIG welding and experience MIG welding mild steel. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. * Previous experience working as fabricator. * Previous experience of either operating or setting a press brake machine. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. * Flexibility to work overtime as required.
