Position: UK Sales Manager Location: UK wide Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE Car private healthcare & dental Commission usual benefits MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SELLING PACKAGING This role is working for a multi national rigid plastic packaging manufacturer who possess manufacturing facilities in Europe. They manufacture and offer a wide range of innovative packaging solutions to large retail and blue chip companies. We are looking for a UK Sales Manager to join our client to work within the existing sales team and support the business growth plans. The chosen candidate will be expected to manage and grow accounts for 20% of their role whilst 80% of this position will expect new business development. The Role: This role would be suited to a highly motivated individual who is confident both in face to face customer relations and cold calling. The successful candidate needs to be dynamic and ambitious Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and working within the European Sales Team. Requirements of the role would include; Developing and extending the existing customers portfolio Selling our full range of products in all market segments integrating a real industrial and lobby approach Ensuring the development of strategic accounts Being able to uncover, build and justify customer needs Preparing quotes, working closely with the engineering department, Handling all the commercial tasks for the area in cooperation with the Regional Manager and our Plant Managers (business plan, budget, reporting) UK travel required along with occasional European travel Competencies : A proven track record in B2B sales within packaging Be able to identify opportunities, develop leads, close deals Minimum of 4-6 years in technical sales positions Cultural awareness, flexible with high reactivity An excellent communicator and People skills, with the ability to work on own initiative In depth understanding of commercial drivers and the ability to apply Driven to succeed and highly self-motivated while working within a European sales team A full clean driving licence Benefits : Company car Company events • Private dental insurance • Private medical insurance • Work from home • Bonus scheme • Performance bonus
