A growing and dynamic Property & Construction Consultancy, based in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead their Project Management and Cost Consultancy team.
With a focus on the commercial sector, the successful candidate will have a strong Consultancy background in Quantity Surveying and will have the opportunity to quickly advance to Divisional Partner.
The Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor Role
The Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing instructions and projects across sectors such as warehousing, leisure, and residential.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on leadership responsibilities and rapidly progress to Divisional Partner in a well-established and forward-thinking consultancy. In addition, you will be involved in business development, client management, and the delivery of high-quality cost consultancy services.
In this role, you will promote the consultancy's services to secure new clients and projects while leading and managing them from start to finish. Responsibilities include preparing client reports, developing new relationships, and producing tender documents using NBS or similar software. You will attend project sites and meetings, ensure compliance with legislation, and provide leadership and mentorship to the team. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and effective workload management are essential, along with financial forecasting and reporting to senior leadership. Additionally, you'll work to improve profitability by managing time and resources efficiently.
The Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will have:
A strong Quantity Surveying background within Consultancy/PQS environments
Strong commercial sector background; residential experience is a plus
Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
Ability to manage and deliver high-value projects independently
Proficiency in producing tender documents and handling project financials
Ambitions to rapidly move into a Divisional Partner role
